Even though it's getting close to Christmas I've been able to get a little bit of scrapping done. I'm starting to get to the point that none of the pictures I have printed out are inspiring me to do layouts. I think I need to start doing some more interesting things, I can only do so many layouts of Maddie. She's pretty cute and has plenty of personality but I've done a million layouts with just her on them. This is my newest layout of her. Brad was trying to take her picture one night to put in our Christmas cards and this one turned out so hilarious that we chose to put it in our cards. She looks so sassy in this picture. I used up some old scraps and I turned a paper that I didn't like and then I used glimmer mist on it for the background. I like all the bling on the page.
This is the layout I made for the newest challenge. I really wanted to put lots of pictures on the page, but I didn't want them to take up the whole page. I had to crop and shrink them and then I printed them off my printer. I need to find another way to do this. I really like the look of having lots of pics on a page and I always have lots of pics to scrap. I wonder if there's some way I can send my pics to walmart and have them print out small. Anyways I used some paint on this layout and I think it looks awesome. I cut the key out of the paper and I put that foam stuff under it that makes it raised off the page and I think it looks cool.
My secret is that sometimes I like dogs more than humans. Who doesn't like dogs anyways? Everyday when I come home from a bad day at work, I see Miss Maddie waiting at the door for me and it puts a smile on my face and I forget about how bad my day was. Even when she's bad, I can't help but love her because she is such a great dog and so lovable. I'm so lucky to have such a great dog that can make me smile by just looking at her.
Merry Christmas!
